  • The 40-foot container comes in standard 40-foot and high-cube 40-foot variations. The internal dimensions of a standard 40-foot container are approximately 12.03 meters in length, 2.35 meters in width, and 2.39 meters in height, offering a volume of around 58 cubic meters. The high-cube 40-foot container is slightly taller, with an internal height of about 2.69 meters and a volume of approximately 68 cubic meters.   • FOB Destination Port: The seller assumes the responsibility of transporting goods to the designated destination port, covering domestic transport expenses and a portion of costs. Once the goods arrive at the destination port, the buyer is in charge of unloading, payment of unloading fees, in addition to further transportation costs, risks, and insurance obligations.
  • EXW (Ex Works): EXW signifies that the seller prepares goods and makes them available for collection by the buyer at the seller’s factory. The seller simply places the goods at a designated location and assists the buyer in arranging pickup. The buyer bears all transportation expenses, risks, and insurance obligations, encompassing domestic transport, customs procedures, and export processes.
  • CNF (Cost and Freight): CNF denotes the seller’s duty to deliver goods to the specified destination port and to cover the freight charges. The seller is responsible for expenses that include domestic transport, customs procedures, and export costs, excluding insurance. Upon arrival of goods at the destination port, the buyer is accountable for unloading, payment of unloading fees, along with further transportation and insurance expenses.
